Zero-Tolerance Policy

Karen LaRocque’s campaign for Vice President of the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan is committed to fostering an environment of respect, dignity, and inclusion. This zero-tolerance policy applies to all digital spaces affiliated with the campaign, including our official website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and any future campaign platforms.

We will not tolerate any content or behaviour that includes:

  • Hate Speech and Discrimination
    Any posts, comments, messages, or shared content that promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, anti-Indigenous rhetoric, or other forms of discrimination or hate will be immediately removed. Users responsible may be blocked and reported.

  • Harassment or Bullying
    Targeted harassment, threats, name-calling, intimidation, or personal attacks against Karen, campaign team members, supporters, or community members are strictly prohibited.

  • Misinformation and Defamation
    The spread of false information, misleading claims, or defamatory content aimed at discrediting individuals or the campaign will not be permitted. Factual corrections will be provided where needed, and violators may be banned.

  • Inappropriate or Graphic Content
    Sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive images, videos, or language are not permitted on our platforms. These will be deleted, and offending users may be blocked.

  • Spam and Trolling
    Spam, irrelevant self-promotion, repetitive comments, and trolling behaviour will result in content removal and possible user bans to maintain the integrity of our online spaces.

Enforcement & Reporting

Our team monitors all public-facing digital platforms to ensure this policy is upheld. Violations may result in:

  • Immediate removal of content

  • Temporary or permanent bans from engaging on campaign platforms

  • Reports to the appropriate social media platform or authorities, if necessary
